Through the Lens of [Light]

And so our journey begins! 

I have been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to accomplish with this venue I just created. A cooking blog? Possibly. A crafty How-To? Perhaps. But the longer I thought, the more I realized that the hand on of the Lord is in my life so much. The gospel is such a big thing in my life, it is really the only thing I can think of that will make any difference in the life of anyone who reads this, and especially for me as I focus on it just a little bit more.

So as you read, I have taken on the “Pen Name” of Through the Lens of Light. I thought long and hard about this one. And again, as I turned to the gospel, I realized that It is a day by day, hour by hour commitment and passion in my life. It relates to everything I do. It is all that I am. The only other thing in my life I can semi- say that about it my love for art, and especially photography.

I have always loved the idea of light, and how it is such a small thing, but it has such a big impact of everything we do, both physically and spiritually. Photography has long been termed “painting with light” and I hope that through my feeble words, I will be able to paint you a picture with light, and help both you and I come closer to the Ultimate Light and appreciate the gospel of Jesus Christ, in a day by day kind of way.

I love the gospel with all that I am. I know God is real. He is in my life. Stay tuned and watch me prove it!
